Remote teaching has been a significant challenge for teachers across the sector and I am grateful to all those who have worked hard to ensure their pupils' education has continued despite lockdown difficulties. Some innovations will undoubtedly continue to be beneficial, and we are working with organisations like the Education Endowment Foundation to establish how schools can best use remote practices in future.
