One year since devastating flooding in Pontypridd, many residents still struggle with affordable home insurance due to the current form of the Flood Re scheme.
Will the Minister agree to meet me and some affected residents from my community to discuss first-hand the problems with Flood Re?
I have sympathy for those who suffered flooding; Flood Re ensures 96% of people with prior flood claims can get five or more insurance quotes. Tweaks will be made if necessary based on consultation views, and we look forward to hearing from interested parties.
