Context
Recent flooding disproportionately affected Welsh communities, including those in Cynon Valley. The UK Government has acknowledged the issue but indicated that funding would come through the Barnett formula.
Will the Secretary of State confirm that UK Government funding for flooding in Wales will come from the UK reserve and not be subject to the Barnett formula? Will he also clarify the amount that will be provided?
Discussions are ongoing on this subject and the hon. Lady will be hearing more from the relevant bodies in the near future.
