We are committed to ensuring that people understand the benefits of the test, track and trace programme. Privacy is by design, as data is held on individuals' phones without going to the Government unless someone needs a test. Early signs show strong support, with 80% of Isle of Wight residents wanting to download it. A big communications campaign will explain these points.
