What steps her Department is taking to support more women to start their own businesses. Specifically, what grants are available for young women starting businesses, particularly in northern constituencies?
Starting a business is an excellent opportunity that provides individuals with control over their lives and contributes positively to the economy and families. The start-up loan scheme is being expanded, which has high uptake among female entrepreneurs. I encourage the hon. Member to inform his constituents about this programme.
