    I rise to present this petition on the recommendations of the infected blood inquiry, owing to this Government’s failure to provide justice or compensation to those infected and affected by the contaminated blood scandal. Victims of this scandal and their families have been subjected to unimaginable trauma during their search for justice, and for many of them time is running out. There can be no more delays. Steps must be taken to establish a final body to pay compensation urgently. The petition states:
