I wish to present a petition from my constituent Anna Todd concerning the provision of inclusive community spaces in Newton Abbot, which has gained hundreds of signatures. Changes to Access to Work, retail rates relief and employer national insurance contributions have seen the closure of Newton Abbot’s No Limits Café, and Dawlish Gardens Trust has had to stop helping people with learning disabilities into work. The petitioners therefore request “that the House of Commons urge the Government to protect existing community support hubs and ensure long-term resource allocation and recognition of their role in mental health, wellbeing, and inclusion.”
