Sarah Sackman provided an update on the 2025 criminal cyber-attack on the Legal Aid Agency’s digital services. She stated that the attack led to the exfiltration of personal data, including names, addresses, dates of birth, and financial information, dating back to 1978, although the majority dates from 2007 to 2025. The government allocated £200 million for transformation and recovery, and no indication exists that the stolen data has been published or shared.
