The Onley Park estate's water main replacement project has been a long-standing issue with residents concerned about delays and lack of clarity on start dates and backdated bills.
What progress has been made on replacing the water main serving the Onley Park estate? The Minister will know that Onley Park is still owned by the Ministry of Justice. Although I welcome the funding, these residents have been waiting years, and they are worried about a lack of clarity around start dates and backdated bills, and the situation is affecting house sales.

The project to replace the water main serving the Onley Park estate is progressing through design and development, with a projected programme expected in November. Important value for money considerations need to be addressed, and the project is expected to commence in January 2027 and last a year. If a meeting is still required, the Minister would be happy to facilitate one.
