The MP for Honiton and Sidmouth questioned the governance of NHS Property Services, a Government-owned company managing over £3 billion worth of properties. He highlighted concerns about transparency in decision-making regarding Seaton Community Hospital, where local funds were used to build part of the hospital that is now being handed back to NHS Property Services due to high rental costs based on clinical rates. The MP emphasised the need for community involvement and a more flexible approach to property management, aligning with health needs as outlined by the chief medical officer.
