I am concerned about the lack of awareness and understanding regarding endometriosis. One in ten women in the UK suffer from this condition, yet only 54% of the population are aware of it and 45% of women are unaware of its symptoms. The average diagnosis time in Scotland is eight years due to the absence of a specific list of symptoms for endo.

About Westminster Hall Debates

Westminster Hall debates are a chance for MPs to raise important issues affecting their constituents and get a response from a government minister. Unlike Prime Minister's Questions, these debates are more in-depth and collaborative. The MP who secured the debate speaks first, other MPs can contribute, and a minister responds with the government's position.
