Opened the debate
I have always said that I am a dad first and an MP second. My son Robin, who is three years old, loves to play outside. Even on weekends, my phone usage was four or five hours daily despite the importance of family time when children are young. When kids are young, we never get that time back, and every hour counts.

About Westminster Hall Debates

Westminster Hall debates are a chance for MPs to raise important issues affecting their constituents and get a response from a government minister. Unlike Prime Minister's Questions, these debates are more in-depth and collaborative. The MP who secured the debate speaks first, other MPs can contribute, and a minister responds with the government's position.
