Issue Summary
The Minister of State for Security, Safeguarding and Countering Extremism is announcing the publication of a response to the 2019 public consultation on legal protections for Armed Forces Personnel and Veterans serving outside the UK.
Action Requested
A copy of the analysis and response has been placed in the Library of the House and will be published online. The minister also indicates anticipation for discussing this issue with the House at Second Reading of the Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Bill on 18 March 2020.
