Issue Summary
The government is expanding the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer, providing more flexibility and support for farmers.
Action Requested
Farmers will have access to an expanded SFI offer from July, including new actions such as agroforestry and precision farming, increased management payments of up to £1,000 in the first year, and limits on land entry into certain SFI actions to safeguard food production. The Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier details will be published this summer.
