Issue Summary
The Government is setting out plans for a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) Mandate to decarbonise air travel.
Action Requested
The SAF Mandate will require 10% of jet fuel in UK flights to come from sustainable sources by 2030 and increase to 22% by 2040. The Government is also launching a consultation on an industry-funded revenue certainty mechanism to support investment in UK SAF production.
