The issue of short-term let properties is significant in the constituency, with approximately 6,000 homes lost to this type of letting.
I am concerned about the impact of short-term lets on my constituency where around 6,000 homes are lost. How will the registration scheme capture the number of nights properties are let out and ensure they do not exceed the 90-day rule or breach planning permissions?

The registration scheme will collect essential data, but legislation for data sharing on the number of nights is not included. We plan to work with constituents to rectify this issue and ensure that hosts understand their responsibilities and provide necessary data.
