The UK aims to meet its target of net zero emissions by 2050, requiring significant investment in clean technologies.
What fiscal measures is the Government implementing to ensure they reach their goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050? The Government has already committed £2.5 billion for low-carbon innovation and other funds are allocated towards ultra-low emission vehicles and renewable heat incentive programmes.

The UK is already a global leader in green finance, but we need to do more. The Government published a Green Finance Strategy last July and launched the Green Finance Institute in collaboration with the City of London. My hon. Friend the Economic Secretary will meet her at the earliest opportunity to progress this.
