What progress has been made on delivering growth deals for every region in Scotland?
We have agreed a city or growth deal for each of Scotland's seven city regions. We have also agreed, or are in the process of agreeing, growth deals for Ayrshire, Borderlands, Argyll and Bute, Falkirk, the Islands, and Moray. This means that every area of Scotland will have a city or growth deal.

Building on previous discussions, the questioner asks about the possibility of a nationwide growth deal based on free enterprise principles, leveraging new trade agreements, and adopting productivity gains from recent digital transitions.
Thanking the hon. Friend for his reply, I ask if he agrees that we now need a growth deal for the whole United Kingdom based on free enterprise, an export boost from new free trade deals, and locking in some of the productivity gains made during this crisis for a transition to a more digital and cashless economy?
I agree that as we recover from the pandemic, steps must be taken to protect livelihoods through a strong economy. City and growth deals in Scotland and across the UK will play their part in ensuring job protection and funding for essential services.
