The UK supports the UN's efforts, engaging regularly with all parties. The Minister spoke to Mohammed Abdul-Salam about the peace process and Safer oil tanker on 18 October; the Foreign Minister was contacted regarding progress on 6 October; and a P5+ ministerial meeting co-hosted by the Foreign Secretary encouraged full engagement with UN proposals on 17 September.
