The aviation industry is under pressure to recover from the impacts of COVID-19, with a focus on sustainable aviation fuels.
Will the Government ensure that part of the support and encouragement for the aviation industry includes developments in alternative fuels, involving the UK oil and gas industry?
£20 million of capital funding is available through the future fuels for flight and freight competition for projects that produce low carbon, waste-based fuels. The Government will look further at what else can be done to support sustainable aviation fuel developments.
