UK Government has committed over £1.4 billion in Scotland through the city region and growth deal programme, to be rolled out to all regions.
Does the Secretary of State agree that the £1.4 billion UK Government have invested in city and growth deals is an example of how Scotland benefits from being part of a strong United Kingdom?
I do agree, and that is just one example. Another example is the Union dividend worth more than £2,000 per annum to every man, woman and child in Scotland. The Prime Minister has announced a further £300 million to complete growth deals throughout all regions of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
