Both regions desire significant funding beyond the Towns Fund to strengthen local authority finances. What specific funding has been considered by my right hon. Friend for these areas in addition to pandemic relief?
My hon. Friend highlights £27 billion provided by the Government to communities during the pandemic. Both Rutland and Melton will receive funding from the £50 million reopening high streets safely fund as they welcome the return of high street activity in towns such as Melton, Uppingham, and Oakham.
