The publishing industry is a key contributor to the UK economy, exporting more books and journals than any other country.
UK exports more books and journals generating £3.6 billion annually; will Minister assure the publishing industry it will be remembered and championed in new free trade agreements?
My hon. Friend chairs an all-party parliamentary group on publishing; his career was in this field before entering politics. Publishing is a valued contributor to our creative economy and part of the Government's export trade advisory group.

Creative industries are losing over £40 million annually in EU funding; stakeholders fear delays due to the complex visa system post-Brexit.
Stakeholders will lose more than £40 million in EU funding per year, fearing costly delays and cancellations. Will Minister ensure creative industries can flourish across Europe? Are creative visas/passports planned?
Free movement will end; a new system based on skills will replace it. We are committed to protecting rights of EU citizens, and have commissioned advice from the Migration Advisory Committee.
