Context

Camrose early years centre in Northampton South is facing an emergency cut that will end its nursery service by April.

Question

Will the Minister meet me to discuss alternative solutions for Camrose early years centre, which faces an emergency cut ending its 8 am to 6 pm nursery service?

Answer from Will Quince

Like other maintained nursery schools, Camrose supports some of our most disadvantaged children. We have confirmed the continuation of its supplementary funding throughout the spending review period and will increase the supplementary hourly funding rate by 3.5%. I would of course be happy to meet my hon. Friend.
