We strongly condemn the murder of Mr Mahboob Khan and my ministerial colleague Lord Ahmad publicly condemned his murder. On 16 November, he raised concerns about killings of Ahmadi Muslims with Pakistan's human rights Minister.

Four Ahmadi Muslims have been murdered on religious grounds within the past four months, with Dr Tahir Ahmad being killed last Friday.
Given recent murders of four Ahmadi Muslims and Dr Tahir Ahmad's killing, what further representations can his Department make to end state-sponsored persecution of Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan?
We remain deeply concerned by reports of mistreatment of Ahmadiyyas and other religious communities in Pakistan. We raise regularly at senior level our concerns about the mistreatment of Ahmadiyyas with Pakistani authorities, including a meeting on 3 November with representatives from the Ahmadiyya community in Rabwah.
