What steps his Department is taking to protect veterans from vexatious claims, considering recent concerns raised by constituents and the broader veteran community?
We have introduced the Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Bill to tackle vexatious claims and end the cycle of reinvestigations. The Second Reading will be on Wednesday, and I look forward to the House's support.

A constituent who served in the armed forces has expressed concern about potential prosecution for actions carried out during their service.
Can the Minister provide reassurance to my constituent and all service personnel that they will not be prosecuted for carrying out what they were trained to do, as long as they operate within the law?
I categorically guarantee that if service personnel operate within the clear legal boundaries, this Government will legislate to protect them from vexatious claims. The Bill is proportionate and fair.
