Assessment of the role of the Union during the pandemic.
Question
What assessment has been made of the role of the Union in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak? Does my right hon. Friend agree with most people that we are stronger as one United Kingdom in responding to coronavirus?
Answer from Brandon Lewis (The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland)
We are working closely with all the devolved Administrations who are committed to suppressing the virus. This is a collective national effort; we remain stronger together as one United Kingdom, and this approach has been effective in co-ordinating responses, sharing information on PPE provision, while tailoring local plans.
