Question

What fiscal measures is the Government implementing to ensure they reach their goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050? Answer from Simon Clarke (Financial Secretary to the Treasury)

The UK is already a global leader in green finance, but we need to do more. The Government published a Green Finance Strategy last July and launched the Green Finance Institute in collaboration with the City of London. My hon. Friend the Economic Secretary will meet her at the earliest opportunity to progress this.
