The Minister recognised when I met him last week that the UK shared prosperity fund will need to be more transparent, unlike the towns fund. If he intends to keep this promise of transparency, when will his Department consult on the UKSPF and publish funding allocations for English regions?
The details of the UKSPF are set out in a technical note published on gov.uk. At last year's spending review, we outlined strategic elements of the UKSPF. Further details will be provided in a UK-wide investment framework later this year. Meanwhile, the community renewal fund will deliver lasting change in tackling inequality and deprivation.
