Reports suggest that one in seven young people are taking up vaping and becoming addicted to nicotine. The long-term health impact of vaping is not yet fully understood.
We would all encourage people to vape instead of smoke, but we do not know the long-term health impact of vaping at all. What measures will my hon. Friend take to make sure that young people understand the risks of vaping?

I pay tribute to my hon. Friend's work as chair of the all-party parliamentary group for vaping. He is right; we have updated the guidance on Talk to FRANK, to illustrate for young people the dangers of consuming lots of nicotine.

England is now set to miss the Smokefree 2030 target by at least seven years, and countless children are now addicted to vapes. What steps has the Minister taken to make up that lost time?

We are taking action across the board on smoking. We recently announced that we are giving vaping kits to a million smokers to help them swap to stop, and bringing in new health incentives for all pregnant women so they can stop.
