What recent assessment has been made with Cabinet colleagues and the Northern Ireland Department of Health regarding the adequacy of resources for tackling NHS waiting times in Northern Ireland?

A recent poll indicated that people in Northern Ireland blame the current government for health service problems, raising concerns among unions.
Does the Secretary of State accept that a recent Belfast Telegraph poll found people in Northern Ireland think that the Tory Government are most to blame for the problems facing the NHS? Will he meet the unions to discuss their concerns?
Health is devolved in Northern Ireland, but we share the concerns. Despite making funds available, systemic transformation needed in healthcare and education must be addressed by a functioning Executive for everyone's benefit.
