I had the pleasure of visiting Lancashire and met people at Veterans UK who provide a range of support to veterans. A £40 million transformation programme is being put in place to digitise existing processes, enabling more effective and efficient support for our personnel and veterans.

The career transition partnership helps veterans transition into civilian life with necessary skills. Special arrangements are in place for those who are ill or injured to ensure a smooth transition.

Will he meet me to discuss findings of an all-party parliamentary group on veterans' survey? Will he agree to measures based on those findings?
I look forward to the results of his group's survey. The MOD conducts various surveys and will ensure that serving personnel, veterans, and their families receive what they need for positive lived experiences.

Veterans are less likely to suffer from mental health issues compared to the general public. However, we do all in our power to promote their mental health throughout their careers and beyond with projects like Op Courage.

When will the full report be published, and what action will be taken on its findings?
The definitive quinquennial review report will be published in spring. We aim to ensure that the compensation system is less adversarial and act on all findings, understanding that delays are due to comprehensive medical reports being obtained.
