The question is prompted by the lack of progress on previous commitments regarding disabled people and the current status of the disability action plan.
What progress has his Department made on the disability action plan. The Conservatives have consistently failed disabled people throughout the past 13 years with promises that were ruled unlawful. When do the Government plan to consult and publish their action plan, and will they follow the lead of our friends in the European Union by removing those accessibility barriers?
We are planning to consult on the disability action plan this summer. The consultation will be published in accessible formats, and we will publish the final plan once we have fully considered the consultation responses.

The question is prompted by a visit where the Minister saw how the Access to Work programme is working with Waitrose Belgravia branch employing five deaf people.

I am hugely appreciative of my hon. Friend extending an invitation for me to visit the Belgravia Waitrose branch, where I saw the dedicated team providing brilliant service, demonstrating that businesses engaging in disability employment has a positive impact on employees and community.

The question is prompted by the delay in delivering a disability strategy after numerous promises, with the latest being found illegal.
Let us be clear: the 2019 Conservative manifesto promised a radical strategy for disabled people before the end of 2020. It emerged unlawfully and was replaced quietly by an action plan in December 2022 but we still have few details. How many years does it take for meaningful action?
We might need an Adjournment debate to correct inaccuracies in the hon. Lady's question; this Government are committed to a disability action plan responding to issues raised by disabled people, involving full consultation and delivery over 12-18 months.
