Context
The question arises from the lack of success for Thornley Lane North, which is a boundary between two communities that did not succeed in previous rounds of levelling-up funding. The Minister is asked to explain what can be done to help level up these specific areas.
Thornley Lane North is literally the boundary between Denton and Reddish, and the Minister will not understand the incredulity of local residents to see these huge electronic billboards plastered with “Levelling up”. What is the Minister going to do to help me level up Denton and Redditch?
I am certainly happy to meet the hon. Gentleman to discuss those levelling-up projects. We have had a huge swathe of fantastic projects funded around the country.
Assessment & feedback
The questioner requested specific actions or plans for Denton and Redditch, but the answer provided was vague and did not address these areas directly.
