An estimated 42,000 Palestinians have died since Hamas attacked Israel over a year ago.
Since the devastating attack by Hamas more than a year ago, an estimated 42,000 people have lost their lives. Will you assure me that the Government are using full diplomatic force to secure an immediate ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid?
We have been calling for an immediate ceasefire, release of hostages still detained by Hamas, and more aid into Gaza since day one. The death and destruction are intolerable.

Islamic Relief reported that people in Jabalia are being 'starved, bombed and shot on sight'.
I declare an interest as a former board member of the Disasters Emergency Committee. Islamic Relief told me yesterday about the situation in Jabalia where people are being starved, bombed, and shot on sight. What conversations have you had with Israeli counterparts to end indiscriminate attacks and let in lifesaving aid?
We have been clear on maintaining international humanitarian law across the region, including Israel. We are working with UN agencies for access to aid.

September's export licence ban with Israel covers items that may be used to breach international law in Gaza.
Will the Minister reassure me that September's export license ban includes items reasonably believed to breach international law in Gaza? Also, do remaining licenses exclude military equipment for IDF?
There are currently no extant UK export licences for items that might commit or facilitate serious violations of IHL to Israel, except F-35 components. Most remaining licences do not cover the IDF.

Constituents are concerned about worsening conditions in north Gaza. The UN has reported that essential supplies for survival are running out.
My constituents, including Damon and Annie, are extremely concerned that every day things are only getting worse. Given the abject conditions in north Gaza, humanitarian access is nearly non-existent. A year on from the start of the conflict, we are still debating restrictions on aid flow by Israeli authorities. What more can you do to ensure people dying from hunger, thirst and lack of medical care receive attention?
The new UK Government are doing all that we can to get aid in as quickly as possible, supporting trusted partners on the ground. We have agreed to match up to £10 million of public donations for life-saving humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, shelter and clean water. That aid needs to get to people who desperately need it.

Government's stance on Putin's war crimes is being questioned for consistency compared to their stance towards Netanyahu.
Last month the Minister correctly stated that intentionally directing attacks at civilian objects is a war crime. Yet, why can't the Government do the same when the perpetrator is Netanyahu and victims are Palestinians?
The new Government prioritise doing all that we can to secure a ceasefire. We have made changes around UNRWA, committed to the International Criminal Court and Court of Justice, ensuring legal requirements on arms exports are upheld.

Intercepted communications indicate Hamas is struggling with warehouse space for incoming aid, preventing it from reaching the population.
Given that intercepted communications show Hamas are struggling to find room for arriving aid, what action will you take to ensure UNRWA gets this aid to those who need it?
The Government are clear that UNRWA plays a vital role in saving lives, providing food and services. Allegations or reports of unacceptable activity must be investigated by UNRWA. We have supported the implementation of findings from the Colonna report.

Questioner is concerned about the ethnic cleansing and annexation of northern Gaza under Netanyahu's plan.
Does the Minister condemn the ethnic cleansing and annexation of northern Gaza? If so, what action will be taken to demonstrate the UK's strongest objection?
The Government are extremely concerned by the situation. We see a deterioration in people's circumstances there, with health and aid access issues. The lowest amount of aid since conflict start is unacceptable. We will continue to argue for humanitarian access.

Given that UNRWA supplies were found in Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's hideout, will you review your commitment to funding UNRWA and take action to stop aid misappropriation?
The UK Government take such allegations very seriously. We have ensured that these are taken up with UNRWA, and the Colonna report saw thorough investigation into allegations proven.

The question follows the removal of international terrorist Yahya Sinwar and a potential amnesty for hostage releasers. It addresses the need for Hamas to lay down arms.
Following the removal of international terrorist Yahya Sinwar, and with an amnesty possibility for those who release hostages, what pressure are the Government bringing to bear on Hamas to urge them to lay down their arms and release the 97 remaining hostages? This is necessary for full humanitarian relief access in Gaza.
The Foreign Secretary and Prime Minister have met with family members of hostages, particularly those with UK links. They have repeatedly emphasised that hostage release must be prioritised.
