Friend is a great champion for his constituents, and of course I agree with him about the importance of ensuring that householders know where to obtain information about what they may be able to receive, especially as we are providing them with £108 billion between 2022 and 2025. NHS North West London ICB has been chosen as a pilot area for the WorkWell programme which aims to provide integrated health advice for disabled individuals. Can my hon. Friend meet me to discuss how we can maximise the effectiveness of this programme in Uxbridge and South Ruislip?

The WorkWell programme aims to integrate health advice for disabled individuals, helping them start, stay and succeed in work. The NHS North West London ICB is one of 15 partnerships selected as lead partners for the new WorkWell initiative.

Fly-tipping is a concern for many local residents across Uxbridge and South Ruislip. I pay tribute to Mary in Yiewsley, Bernie in South Ruislip, Wendy in Cowley and Donna from Ruislip Gardens, who act as community champions in reporting regular fly-tipping. The waste service team at Hillingdon Council works tirelessly in responding to regular cases of fly-tipping. However, all this great work can only go so far without further funding.

Fly-tipping fines have more than doubled, and we are expecting local authorities to reinvest that income. We are going further with reforms on how waste carriers are regulated, introducing digital waste tracking to help local authorities crack down on waste crime.

Will my right hon. Friend join me in congratulating the team at Ruislip High School and the children's services team at Hillingdon Council on their recent outstanding ratings, and will he pledge to work with me to ensure that children across Uxbridge and South Ruislip have the best possible education?
Context
In Uxbridge and South Ruislip, children in English schools are the best readers in the western world due to Government efforts. This has led to outstanding or good Ofsted ratings.

I join my hon. Friend in congratulating Ruislip High School and Hillingdon Council's children's services team. Nearly 90% of schools in Uxbridge and South Ruislip are now rated good or outstanding by Ofsted, up from under 70% in 2010, following the great work of teachers and our relentless focus on improving school standards.

The Government's responsibility is to help roll out electric vehicles. The Mayor of London's scrappage scheme is underfunded and slow, a direct consequence of Labour's failure to keep promises to Londoners. The only remedy for Londoners is to vote in Susan Hall.

The Government are helping low-income motorists by keeping down the cost of motoring. There has been no increase in fuel duty since January 2011, and a 5p cut from fuel duty was extended for another year. This cut, along with the inflation freeze, has saved the average car driver around £100 this year.

With both Wealdstone and Uxbridge football clubs embedded in my constituency, grassroots football is incredibly important to the people of Uxbridge and South Ruislip. Clubs like those offer more than just football; they act as vital community hubs and support a significant increase in girls' football through to special educational provision and much more. For the benefit of the clubs and fans across my constituency, will the Minister give the House an update on the progress being made to protect grassroots football, including how television revenues will be distributed, to ensure that those important community assets do not just survive but flourish?

My hon. Friend is absolutely right about the importance of football clubs like Wealdstone and Uxbridge. They are incredibly important in providing opportunities for people to become physically active, but are also integral parts of our communities. That is why, as my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State just mentioned, we have been urging the football authorities to come up with a deal, so that that money can flow down and we can ensure that our great football sport that we have in this country continues to flourish.

As a local authority closely tied to Heathrow airport, the London Borough of Hillingdon has been doing great work to manage the impact of those currently in the asylum process. That is despite a funding imbalance in national rates, given the local population and the numbers of asylum seekers. Will my right hon. Friend commit to work with me to look at how we can ensure that those authorities, such as Hillingdon Council, linked with major ports of entry are given the resources to cope with such demands?

My hon. Friend raises an important matter for his constituents. As they live in the local authority beside Heathrow airport, it is true that his constituents bear a particular burden with respect to asylum seekers. We do provide £3,500 per asylum seeker to a local authority to help meet those costs, but a local authority such as Hillingdon does need our support, and I would be delighted to work with him in that regard.

My right hon. Friend will recall his recent visit to Uxbridge. Will he join me in calling for the Mayor of London to guarantee the future of Uxbridge police station as fully operational?

Of course, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, had planned to close down Uxbridge police station until my hon. Friend forced him into a humiliating U-turn before he was even elected. I join him in calling on the Mayor of London to keep Uxbridge police station open and to add that custody suite.
