I would be delighted to come to Grimsby. I congratulate my hon. Friend on becoming the apprenticeship diversity champion. She is a skills champion, and what she is doing on careers and mentoring in Grimsby is a model example of what should be done across the country.

I am aware of proposals involving shipping and piping of hydrogen. I would be happy to meet my hon. Friend to discuss further steps we can take.

My hon. Friend is right that students should get their papers marked. I have been discussing these issues with Universities UK, which says that they will affect a minority of students, and a lot of universities are ensuring alternative markers. Students have recourse to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator if they feel they are not getting the service that they have paid for with their student loan.

The Government continued to make good progress on our pathway to net zero in 2021. The UK's net territorial greenhouse gas emissions were estimated to be 427 million tonnes, which is 48% lower than they were in 1990.

I join my hon. Friend in praising Chief Constable Lee Freeman and Humberside Police Force's pioneering work, such as its 'right care, right person' programme which is being rolled out across the country to benefit all forces.

An adult social care jobs fair, with 10 employers in attendance, will take place on Wednesday. A whole host of events during apprenticeship week in two weeks' time and we are rolling out the in-work progression offer to Grimsby starting in March.

I would be very happy to meet my hon. Friend. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her on many things vocational and technical education when I was last in the Department. We very much need more mechanical engineers, so I encourage that young student and very much look forward to working with my hon. Friend.

My hon. Friend's constituency is an excellent example of transformation through Department support. One of us will be very happy to come to Great Grimsby to support the work being done.

The UK and our allies are unwavering in our support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Any Russian military incursion into Ukraine would be a massive strategic mistake and would come at a severe cost to Russia. We are working with our partners to develop a package of broad and high-impact sanctions that target the Russian financial sector and individuals. We are also providing a range of support to enhance Ukraine's defensive capability.

I am sorry about the situation with your constituent. It is not right that people cannot visit their loved ones in hospital without an MP's intervention. Allowing such visits should be a priority for every trust and I have raised this issue with the NHS chief executive who assured me that this message will reach all trusts.

We have developed a globally recognised programme that combines boosters, testing and antivirals to protect the vulnerable and reduce hospital admissions. Our “Get Boosted Now” campaign led to a huge increase in vaccination rates and we successfully procured the highest number of antivirals per head in Europe. We are employing remote monitoring technology to enable more patients to get care at home.

A specific seafoods export working group meets twice weekly, and we are engaging with French authorities to ensure smooth trade of high-quality seafood from Great Grimsby.

My hon. Friend raises an important point. The Government ensure that the supply of health and welfare services, including opticians and eye tests, are exempt from VAT, which ensures that VAT is not a barrier to accessing medical treatment. Moreover, in addition to NHS complex lens vouchers, the Government already offer support for individuals to help with the cost of glasses through NHS optical vouchers. Those eligible for help include children and those on certain income-related benefits, and the value varies from £39 to £215 depending on the level of the patient's prescription. However, I will write to my hon. Friend with full details so that she can assist her constituent.

The Government recognise it is important that the tax system treats people fairly and consistently, while also raising revenue for public services. We provide tax-free welfare benefits for those who have extra costs associated with their disability, including disability living allowance, personal independence payment and attendance allowance. We have also made available several VAT zero rates for the purchase of certain equipment and appliances designed solely for use by a disabled person, such as the VAT zero rate for the leasing of vehicles through the Motability scheme.

Great Grimsby is a pilot town deal with £40 million investment, more to come from the £3.6 billion towns fund. We have introduced measures such as the Open Doors pilot project, cutting business rates for small retailers by 50% from April for properties below £51,000 rateable value.
