I welcome the hon. Member for South Thanet back and wish him well in his duties. I associate myself with the PM's remarks. My Wellingborough constituency is one of England's dental deserts according to a report from May 2022 by the Association of Dental Groups. Despite welcoming the Prime Minister's grand scheme to send dental vans, months later it has been U-turned because there are not enough vans. Why can he not address this issue seriously?
Context
The Association of Dental Groups identified Wellingborough constituency as one of England's dental deserts. The Prime Minister announced a scheme to send dental vans but had to U-turn due to insufficient resources.

That is not right. Actually, thanks to our dental recovery plan, we are delivering 2.5 million more dental appointments. There is a new patient premium and new provision for remote communities, and since it was announced in January, over 500 more dental practices now accept new patients compared with Labour's plan.
Assessment
The questioner asked why the PM could not address the lack of dental resources seriously but the answer did not directly address this issue; instead it highlighted government efforts and compared them to Labour's plans without addressing Wellingborough specifically.

In Wellingborough and Rushden, what is the Department doing to ensure that low-income households have access to digital services?

The MP noted that access to the internet through libraries and schools is a key tool for employment and betterment in her constituency.

We have encouraged social tariffs rolled out by a large number of operators. Constituents of hers who are on benefits will be able to access those. They cost from £10 a month, bringing cheap connectivity to everybody.

While on the campaign trail, I met the Daylight Centre and SERVE Rushden. Both have seen their service users increase in number, even with the extension of the household support fund, which they both welcome. What can the Secretary of State do to expand the eligibility of the fund, improve uptake and increase the value of the healthy start payment?

May I welcome the hon. Lady to her place? In answer to her question, I will simply point out that there was much speculation before the spring Budget about whether the housing support fund was going to be extended. In my opinion, the Chancellor took exactly the right approach, and the fund has now been extended for a further six months.

Food banks are independent organisations, with DWP having no direct role in their operation. We do, however, monitor the use of food banks through the family resources survey, and the next instalment of that will be later this month.
