The upcoming Aardman Animations film “Vengeance Most Fowl” highlights the need for government support to promote animation across the UK.

This Government have announced new tax reliefs for British films and special effects. We are determined to do more, working closely with Mayors and local councils on their local growth plans, ensuring all parts of the country benefit from success in animation and other sectors.

This Government are prioritising the growth of our creative industries, which are vital to our economy and showcase the best of creativity and culture. I have been pleased to announce £13.5 million of funding for two new clusters in Liverpool and the west midlands.
