Does the Minister condemn the ethnic cleansing and annexation of northern Gaza? If so, what action will be taken to demonstrate the UK's strongest objection?
Context
Questioner is concerned about the ethnic cleansing and annexation of northern Gaza under Netanyahu's plan.
Anneliese Dodds
The Government are extremely concerned by the situation. We see a deterioration in people's circumstances there, with health and aid access issues. The lowest amount of aid since conflict start is unacceptable. We will continue to argue for humanitarian access.

I hear what the Secretary of State said, but does he agree that immediate recognition is vital to uphold international law, necessary for just peace processes, and essential to resolve conflicts through diplomacy? Does he recognise the catastrophic implications of not recognising Palestine?
Context
Discussion on the importance and necessity of recognising Palestine immediately.
David Lammy
Peace will be achieved through a political solution, not military means. Recognition itself does not bring peace; we would like Hamas and Israel to accept the Biden plan.

Important Context
- - Ministers answer questions rather than asking them, so have different activity patterns
- - Activity quantity doesn't measure quality or effectiveness of representation
- - Some MPs focus more on constituency work than parliamentary questions
- - Newly elected MPs will have less parliamentary history
