Today, I am writing to update the House on the launch of a new National Taskforce for Tackling Misogyny to combat the growing challenge of misogyny in our communities, workplaces, services and online spaces. The Taskforce, which I will chair, will bring together government, local and regional leaders and external experts to tackle misogyny, focusing on prevention, culture change and harmful gender norms, while also considering the wider impact of misogyny on women's opportunities and outcomes across society. Standing members include representatives from various organisations and major employers who will work with government to tackle misogyny at every level.
