Announced the practice change regarding certification suspensions, stating that Mr Speaker will only suspend sitting when a non-Government amendment has been made on the day of consent requirement. In all other cases, the provisional certificate issued alongside the selection list will be signed in the Chamber.

Noted that since the implementation of English votes for English laws Standing Orders, it has been customary to suspend proceedings for certification before Third Reading if a Bill was altered after Second Reading. With increased familiarity with this procedure, Mr Speaker proposes suspending only when non-Government amendments occur on consent days.
