Thanked the Leader of the House for extending virtual participation in debates. Asked whether there would be any motion relating to virtual participation in Committees and if there were likely changes to sitting Fridays.
Informed that Back-Bench business on Fridays will continue, allowing remote participation. Westminster Hall will physically continue, as well as Committees. Explained the cost of extending remote participation to Westminster Hall would be over £100,000 and is limited by taxpayers’ money constraints.
Thanked for the informative information provided about virtual participation arrangements.
