He highlighted the importance of accurate contributions and the respectful use of language during debates. The Speaker also advised on the factors considered when determining who speaks during non-balloted business, including the frequency of a Member’s participation. Finally, he expressed his best wishes to all Members and those working in Parliament for the new Session.
