Government Statement
The Minister announced the business schedule for the week starting on May 16, which includes debates on the Queen’s Speech focusing on making Britain a better place to grow up and grow old, tackling cost of living issues, achieving economic growth, transport, NATO and international security. He also outlined plans for future weeks including debates on Ukraine, the Public Order Bill and a Humble Address celebrating the platinum jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen. The House will rise for Whitsun recess after May 26 and return on June 6.
