Opened the debate
E-cigarettes were initially promoted as a health revolution, but their use has expanded beyond former smokers to include many young people. According to the NHS survey from last year, nearly one in five 15-year-olds consider themselves e-cigarette users. Research shows that vaping is linked to adverse health effects similar to smoking, and there are significant environmental issues with disposable vapes due to improper disposal and lithium waste. The Government should ban single-use vapes to protect children's physical health and the environment.
