Opened the debate
I beg to move, That the Bill be now read a Second time. This bill seeks to amend provisions in the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 by excluding motor homes from being classified as caravans under this act. This would provide greater flexibility for those who travel or stay in motor homes and align our regulations with continental practices where there are designated areas called 'aires' allowing unrestricted overnight stays for motor homes. The amendment aims to boost the motor home industry, encourage domestic tourism, and reduce regulatory burdens.
