The Speaker informed the House that Her Majesty had made a Most Gracious Speech from the Throne to both Houses of Parliament, outlining the Government's legislative programme which will be mission led and based upon the principles of security, fairness and opportunity for all. The programme includes measures to secure economic growth through industrial strategy, boost infrastructure development, enhance employment rights, promote devolution, improve public services such as education and health care, address climate change by transitioning to clean energy, and strengthen national security.
