Opened the debate
The Chancellor's much-vaunted dash for growth is failing due to adverse economic conditions. The Office for Budget Responsibility and the Bank of England have downgraded their growth forecasts, with the latter cutting its forecast by half to a measly 0.75% for the year. Labour never expected President Trump to win, leading to poor financial planning. Furthermore, there are contradictions between the Attorney General's statements on international law and domestic policy.
