Government Response

Government Response
I can confirm that Lord Mandelson has been withdrawn as ambassador with immediate effect due to new information revealed in emails showing a deeper relationship between him and Jeffrey Epstein than previously known. In particular, the suggestion that Jeffrey Epstein’s first conviction was wrongful is new information. The Prime Minister asked me to withdraw him from his position. It is important that all victims of Epstein's crimes are at the forefront of our minds.
